Question (FRQ) RUBRIC
Ø
Strong, coherent thesis statement in brief introduction. The thesis is not simply a restatement of the
question and includes a clear point of view.
Ø
Good use of evidence in paragraphs to justify point of view with
clear topic sentences (at least 3
paragraphs or more).
Ø
Strong topic sentences and transitions between paragraphs.
Ø
Well-argued essay based on prepared outline. Structure and argument well-constructed.
Ø Strong
conclusion that does not repeat the introduction/thesis, and ties the essay
together with thoughtful synthesis.
